1) Clock and in-game management decisions that even the biggest CJH apologists can’t rationally defend. Georgia & Bama game some classic examples.

2) Thinking you could go into this season with Turrentine as a starter… How could you be that dumb?

3) Strength & Conditioning falling off a cliff. Can’t be disputed.

4) Allowing Boo Carter to be a part of team. Dude, CJH can you read the room with your team?

5) What does Joey Halze do exactly?

6) Nice job teasing McCoy return for the fan base. How could you actually think he would play this season? Defied logic from the beginning. Should have gotten another CB from portal.

7) CJH too good a human being to run it up against Florida? Spare me. Opportunity missed.

Who is going to take lead in presenting this to CJH and DW so he can have JH begin life improvement seminars?

What exactly are the backups doing if not a one of them are ready to play? When they see the field they look lost, weak, and completely void of fundamentals. So what are we doing to develop players?

Also, what does it take to be benched if you aren’t performing? How many times can a player or players cost game(s) before they get to ride the pine in favor of someone who gives a damn?

It seems to me that a kicker who booms it into the endzone on every kickoff should be able to learn how to kick a field goal. Why isn't he being given a chance?

1. Agree
2. Agree
3. Not sure. Fair to make an argument. But this isnt peak Butch era either...
4. Boo over Thomas was huge mistake. Fair
5. Meh
6. Meh. Gibson injury hurt but yeah, they needed one more. They lucked out a bit that Redmond developed a little faster than anticipated.
7. Meh. Just glad to win. No need to run it up on an interim.

Here are a few more

8) Lack of kicking competition, especially after Gilbert going through yips as freshman

9) Continued lack of developing HS OL recruits. Continued trend of spending big bucks on backups from LSU, Texas, Florida, ND means holes exist elsewhere on roster.

10) Not picking up an experienced LB in the portal. Telander just played too much.

11) Not fixing the undisciplined play (penalties, ball control, etc)

Lots of room for improvement, but this is the first year he really underperformed. And even with that we are 2 plays away from being 10-3. I know that doesn't hold much water, but it helps keep me level headed after that loss.

Upgrade DC? Done.

Upgrade position coaches? Let's hope.

Upgrade some talent on the roster? We better.

Absolutely none. As a long time Vols fan and also an alumni, he is doing all the right things. No team will win every game every year, however in today's environment that is what some people want. It's never going to happen for any school or coach, we will have up and down years, I just hope we do it with class and above board. Maybe I am just getting older but I am getting tired of this current landscape where if a coach loses a game they need to be immediatily fired. S**t happens, life is messy, take time to enjoy something.
My dad passed away last week, played ball for Bobby Dodd at GT, he always just wanted Tech to play a great game, realizing you can't win them all, just show up and represent the best you can, giving your all.
I am very proud to be a graduate of UT and super happy the way everything is being run now.
I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year and a great 2026.

5 Losses. Don't particularly care how or why. That's what the record books will display.
