Cignetti doesn't try to be their best friend. He's a freaking ball coach!

We’ll see about that. The 2022 and 2024 teams were the best we’ve seen since the early 2000s. Let’s not jump the gun about whether or not Heupel is an average coach. Hell man, the program was in shambles for 13 years. JH has given us two playoff caliber squads in five years. Let the man coach and recruit.

Watching the Rose bowl and why can’t we get our own Cignetti? What he has done is incredible

Cignetti is in his 15th season as a head coach. He has done a marvelous job at Indiana, and overall a nice job at James Madison before that. His entire trajectory has not been meteoric though, and he is having his first true head coaching success at nearly 65 years of age. On the whole, disappointing season aside, Heupel is ahead of the curve.
