Garner is staying. Just signed 2 year deal.

I posed sone informed Gossip & talk coming from my OK State source who has good connection to people who ae tight with Knowles in defensive staff changes. In texting with him he said while not likely, to not be shocked if Garner moves to different role on coaching staff. He said things are very fluid right now but that JH has given Knowles almost full reign to make changes. He said RG is only guarantee to be retained unless he chose otherwise. Obviously word just dropped on Willie Martinez (asked if related to Matt Guerrieri decision and he hadn't heard anything nw on that) Inge could go either way and mostly depends on whether Knowles gets commitment or not from couple options. He did mention that Knowles us heavily involved in LB coaching and that spot needs to be an excellent recruiter more than an excellent teacher.

He did mention Andrew Jackson being a guy who has worked his way up the hard way and coached with & under very good coaches including James Franklin, Curt Cignetti's JMU staff, Brent Pry, and most recent with Knowles

I saw he was expecting to come over from Ohio State as new Assistant cornerback coach. Can't remember if official but thought it was more than speculation.

Glad for getting all these new coaches. But Tennessee better hit the portal hard and get some studs on defense. Looks like need O-linemen also.
