How many will not find a new home?

Most won’t make it to the league! Sooner is better than later to accept that fact. Get serious about your education or find a way to support your family because it’s coming sooner than later too! It’s a good reality check if you listen to it!

I wonder how many of these million people in the portal will not find a new home, have to take a pay cut or have to drop down to FCS or lower to find a team?
To date, only 6 of the guys who left UT has found a home

Lots of players are probably gonna regret going into the portal

I just wonder how many of our guys try coming back to UT

Loftin is visiting Wisconsin right now and Herring will be visiting some SEC schools (no clue which ones) but I agree lots of players will regret it.

I remember back in the day if a player was told to look elsewhere the coaching staff tried to help them find a landing spot that was likely better suited to their talent level.

That was before they all get paid and want raises every season to stay. Then you get the real cute BS like Gibson pulled when McCoy got hurt and try to blackmail your team/school into paying even more. Even better when he got hurt 1st game and never played again...so we paid him far more than he was worth healthy to sit the bench and do nothing all year. I bet coaches hate having to recruit your entire roster again every single year just to hold a team together. I can understand why their tolerance for BS has gotten much lower...that's why I haven't complained or questioned when the couple good players out of the 25 we have put in the portal left like Ross and Warren.

Our coaches have to he so tired of this BS. All the while still calling HS players and their family members every day to make sure we land top10 classes from HS. I am glad these guys get paid big checks. They work 10x harder than NFL coaches. Who wants to spend a couple hours every day kissing azzes of 16 and 17yo HS kids?? No thanks.

I’m excited to see where a school like UNLV ends up with the glut of folks in the portal. Some G5 school is gonna end up getting to fill a huge chunk of their roster from this.

Oh to be a G5 coach that has a huge donor or two. Lol

It's not a "home" anymore. It's temporary stop off. Only care about the one year rentals we get. The others....don't care if they find a spot or not....or where.
