The following article from the One Israeli sports website claims Burg was interested in leaving Tennessee midseason to return to the Israeli league. However, the article mentions that last year the Israeli league put in a rule that prevents players that left for college from joining Israeli clubs in the middle of the season.

Man, I've been working on my Hebrew, but this is a little advanced for me. I like Burg (Berg?), but he's a freaking turnover machine.

That may explain why Barnes told Henderson he was sorry. Seems Henderson has now passed Burg on the depth chart.
Not surprised that Henderson has passed him. Burg doesn't really handle pressure all that well and makes me nervous whenever he handles the ball.

Neither are great options, but Henderson at least doesn't turn it over all the time. Henderson just likes to jack up 3s.
In pregame warmups Tuesday night, Henderson hit 27-29 threes. Pretty amazing. Knecht used to have quite good three percentages during warmups, too, but nothing like I saw with Henderson.

You can use google translate to get a full translation of the article.
I wonder how much NIL money was given to Burg. It seems like a lot of international players nationally are getting little playing time. The coaching staffs need to do a better job evaluating international players before making offers.

Would be nice if that accuracy could translate to the game. He’s only 8/27 on the year so far.
Well Burg is 8/18 44.4% 3pnt% 8-8 100% freethrow% ,23 asists to 14 turnovers FG % 41.4.Troy Henderson 8-27 3pnt% 29.6% 0-1 freethrow% 0% 23 assist to 5 turnovers FG% 27.7.So Burg alot better shooter probably one of the best pure shooter on the team but turnover prone.Henderson Jack's up alot of bad shots streaky but doesn't turn it over as much with about the same minutes. It just seem like Burg got the Barnes jerk out after a bad play while letting a freshman 5* turn it over all night and play all game.I like both them guys just thought Burg could be a 3pt specialist of the bench if he could cut down on the turnovers.

Burg is clearly out of his depth athletically and has reconfirmed it game after game but esp now in conf play. It wasn't a "bad play"...it was the final straw based on a large enough sample size. Not sure what to say if you don't understand the clear and warranted disparity between the "5 star" and Burg (and, yes, I am on the record that Ament should have a shorter leash).
