Does this mean JA probably won’t get another season either? I read that Chambliss was thought to have a great chance because he had one year that was a medical redshirt year.

Completely different situation, this was a medical redshirt denied by the NCAA. JA is the Juco issue that Pavia set the precedent for already. This is the same judge that already gave Pavia an injunction. He has set the precedent for JA to win.

actually, the pavia case last year never got fully vetted out, if i remember correctly. the judge granted an injunction, but instead of fighting it, the NCAA just went ahead and gave an extra year. If they decided to fight it, maybe they win, maybe pavia wins, but we just dont know. you sure dont want to get in a situation where the judge rules in the players favor again and the NCAA appeals and wins and Joey is declared ineligable after the transfer window closes

I said in a post I don’t think the NCAA wants it to actually go to court. They’re fine with saying no and then letting a judge continue to issue injunctions so they can say hey we tried.

Who’s paying Joey’s legal bill for this?
He's signed on to the Pavia lawsuit which is still on going. Pavia paid for it.
Joey and all the others that signed on to that lawsuit probably have their own legal reps but I bet they've paid no more than $10-15K for their own representation and that's mostly for filing paperwork and to have them show up to talk to a judge asking for an injunction. I doubt this thing ever goes to trial or anytime son

I have never believed that Joey would get another year, and I am not convinced we will get a starter from the portal. Therefore, get a back up for insurance. This will open up $$$ for other players needed from the portal.
