Watching these playoff games, there is a huge gap between TN and the final 4 teams. Those teams are elite. Elite talent, well coached, crisp execution, very few mistakes, no dropped passes, sure tackling, playcalling appropriate to down and distance, few penalties, never quit, and full effort every play. I have come to the realization that our Vols still have a long way to go. Maybe next year.

We are learning the hard way that you should give the millions to the 22 year olds who have played and are proven vs giving it to the 18 year olds who aren't doing crap but playing video games and spending their NIL on door dash and vape stores.

DW we let all of our D players go like we did last year with Thomas. Trust the plan, josh knows what he is doing. 😂 Just like he knew about the clock rules in the Oklahoma game.

The receivers for Miami and Indiana are far superior to what the Vols have, and I’m not talking about 50/50 balls. Their sideline catches, over the middle, and routes (communication with QB) are much better. They catch and clutch.

In the two semifinal games I watched the amount of holding the refs were letting teams get away was astonishing. I guess they all agreed beforehand to “just let them play”.

We're more talented than Indiana.
But they're more physical and they play fast and efficient. Like they're being controlled by God or something.

2026 is a whole differnt year and we will be in the playoffs.

Their passing game is just far superior to what JH runs. We used to be able to scheme open routes and now it seems we cant find a cow in the barn unless we just have a speedster who can outrun the secondary for a deep bomb. We need legitimate crossing routes. More schemes for the TEs we keep bringing in. Our running game should be paying more dividends in the passing game than it does. Predictability was tossed around to many times by the announcers and what the opposing team said about defending our passing game. It needs to evolve and get better.

It’s almost like people forget those Georgia teams from just a few years ago lol

2018 Clemson
2019 LSU
2020 Alabama
2021 Georgia
2022 Georgia

All of those teams would beat this Indiana team pretty decisively.

Doubt that any those teams would be a decisively win against this Indiana team. Pulling for them go 16-0 shutout the doubter s up.
None of those would be decisive wins.
Actually think this IU team would win a couple of those.

Don't think they would beat 19 LSU or those UGA teams.
Probably the most fun one on that list would be the 20 Bama squad.

You must not remember that 2018 Clemson squad. That was the year they spanked prime Alabama by 4 touchdowns. You’re lying to yourself if you think Indiana is beating them 🤣
