Georgia Tech, Auburn at home and LSU kiffin returning to Knoxville and Bama in Knoxville. We must protect our house better in 2026 after losing 3 games at home this season. If we lose to Golesh and Auburn i think the heat really starts to rachet up on Heupel and the Ga. Tech in Atlanta in week 2 will be a very tricky game breaking in a new QB. 2026 season is gonna be very interesting it’s really a crossroads season for Heupel going into his 6th year here. Let’s hope Knowles can be homerun hire we are hoping for to turn the defense around ahd we get some more portal help. I’m a believer in GMAC at QB.

All SEC games will be tough next year. The portal outcome will be the difference between a 5-6 win season or an 8-9 win season. Vols would have to make giant moves at QB and defensive line to have any chance at 10 wins.

8-5 again won’t cut the pardon the term mustard around here , with a program like UT the expectation every season should be playoffs and anything less is a disappointment.

This past year was the easiest schedule we have possibly had since, maybe, 1989. Season before last really wasn’t as difficult as many others either. CJH needs to find a rabbit in his hat to pull off another’22 type season.

2-2 or 1-3 unless we close incredibly well in the portal on defense and a solid QB.
