Did anyone else notice the Adidas Indiana uniforms looked loose and sloppy? It didn’t affect the team’s play. Winning is the most important thing. Maybe Adidas can get that right.

For Indiana they are pretty good, over the years they've tried some different looks and finall found a pretty solid one imo. In the recent past they had some that basically copied OU's.

I think Miami is probably a better example for us, they have had some weird ones under Adidas but I think what they've had as their base uniforms the past several years now is good. It's close enough to their classic look.

As long as the orange and white jerseys, orange and white pants, and dark mode all look basically the same and they don't change the basketball uniforms much I'm fine. I worry a bit about baseball, I love the current baseball options but Adidas was the ones that had those ugly striped Astro things and I think some of their schools are still using those.

I did notice in all the post game interviews and such that Mendoza kept tugging down on his jersey and pads.

Not sure if it was ill fitting apparel or just a nervous tick in front of the cameras.

Question though...Adidas, Nike, UA provide "apparel " to the teams. Is that ONLY jerseys, pants, shorts, shoes, gloves?

Who supplies things like helmets and pads?

Yeah I don’t have a lot of confidence in adidas getting it right. But if we are posting Ws I don’t reckon I care so much. Only thing I will say is if we ever experiment w orange helmets again, de-luster like IU is the way to go…but that’s not adidas

Walking in to the Benz last night there were all kinds of Indiana people having the time of their life, good to see a scrappy bunch of hard working 3 and 4 star kids celebrating a huge blowout over the evil empire of Nike University of Oregon

Riddell historically produced the helmets, not sure if they are still the company being used. Pads, I believe, are produced by a company called Schutt.

It’s been reported that UT will have control over design. So if they look bad, the fault lies with our athletic department.

How about the fitting? That what the OP referenced.

UT will get a lot of money from Adidas, but they’ll have their hands full making sure uniforms are done right. Similar to what MLB had to do with Nike.

Riddell produces most of the helmets but Schutt and Vicis make good helmets too. Personally I think the Riddell Power is the best shoulder pads with Douglas being a close 2nd. Adams makes the majority of knee pads, thigh pads and such.
