Our portal class ranking is 16th, but I should also mention that (1) 247 doesn't rate kickers/punters, and (2) both Lane and Freeman have their HS ratings and aren't calculated into the portal ranking until 247 updates their databases and gives them a portal rating (which could be a while).

I've been over recruiting rankings for a long time, although it is imperative to have high quality athletes......I just don't trust the "experts" ranking systems, they know as much or less than most of us. SC is consistently ranked in the top 10 or higher and they have been less relevant in college football than Tennessee has arguably over many many years
