Consideration should be given to getting him to come back. He is the 9 TH rated QB in the portal. Pribula is rated 7 TH. Merklinger knows the system and he is not a bad runner. GMac will get injured the fist time he faces SEC competition. The backup QB's should have played a lot more in 2025.

Those ratings mean jack squat honestly. They're probably based on his high school ranking. Actually they have to be based on his high school ranking, because there's literally nothing else good to base that off of.

Merk has been in the portal for a while and , as far as I know, still hasn't received any interest from anyone. I don't think we would take him back, even he wanted to come back.
