I would have been astounded if G-Mac didn’t beat him out.

I think the experience beats G-Mac. He's getting a lot of credit here for a guy who has taken very very very few game snaps.

Hell, check out the kid at Western Carolina. Other than that, spend the money on the defense and let’s roll with G Mac and Brandon. Not optimal, but we’re about out of options in the xfer portal. I wouldn't have offered that much considering the injury issue and questions about his ability to perform at maximum level. I can only see that much money if the deal was contingent upon his being free of physical limitations and his ability to perform at his best.

I wouldn't have offered that much considering the injury issue and questions about his ability to perform at maximum level.
