Timing certainly points to him not feeling like he would not be able to compete in the new lineup.

He was fun to watch in high school and is a talented athlete, but never made an impact in 2 years here. Never really understood moving him from CB to S as he seemed undersized at the safety spot

I don't care how many stars Beasley had coming out of HS from Lipscomb.. he looked like trash every time he stepped on the field for us. This isn't a loss at all.

Dude was a stud CB at Lipscomb Academy. He was a lock down corner that wasn't a big hitter. So what does Tim Banks do? Moved him to safety! Made no sense.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him end up at CB where ever he lands.

Even after moving to Safety, kid still showed some potential.
Just not enough consistency to make an impact.

Best to him. In state kid, commits and plays for UT. Just couldn't make the switch, seemed like the game just moved too fast for him. All Vol though.

I don't get why some on here are kinda trashing him.

Hope he finds a good spot and finishes out his education.

I have hard time understanding how guys who weren't remotely close to being good enough to play anything at this level, calling guys soft who are playing at this level. It's not just you. It's a bunch of guys in here. What is it that makes guys like you do that? Jealously?
