Is Dylan Railoa Now An Option For the Vols?

He's getting paid enough to be their girlfriend instead of other people's wife I guess. We need a Phil Knight style sugar daddy up on Rocky Top.
With Kiffin signing Longstreet behind Leavitt and Oregon signing Raiola behind Moore, it seems we're entering a new era of bags of money letting teams stack talent.

They might not keep those guys next year, I guess, but both will be positioned to start if they want and have a year in the offense to learn and, of course, injuries can happen.

It's a nice strategy if you have few other holes to plug and/or Phil Knight wanting a Natty before he dies.

Just throwing this out there: let's say there are still college players today that seek a NC ( as much as they seek $$$ ) . Is it harder for a team like the Vols to attract top talent when they seem unsettled on a QB to this point ?

I think it's harder to attract guys like elite WRs to a program that doesn't consistently have a guy who can get the ball to them or harder to attract elite RBs if your O Line run blocking is weak.

Those crazy good WRs at Ohio State wouldn't be there if there wasn't a package of better than average O Linemen giving a competent QB a chance to get the ball out to them.

If I'm looking, it's the package: the offensive philosophy and the talent around me and my "fit" in that package. JMO

Wonder what changed Moore mind. I had saw mock drafts that had him as the #2 pick
Did that play game damage his stock that bad?

What's he going to do next year when the Jets or the Browns are in the same position.😁

I don't know. That's a lot of money to give up being #2 overall as a QB
Yeah, just feels like a poor decision. And we have plenty of examples of QBs coming back for another year and tanking their draft stock. And this is a pretty terrible QB class, it’s hard to see him dropping at all.

Just a weird decision that he may wind up regretting pretty badly.
