With Kiffin signing Longstreet behind Leavitt and Oregon signing Raiola behind Moore, it seems we're entering a new era of bags of money letting teams stack talent. He's getting paid enough to be their girlfriend instead of other people's wife I guess. We need a Phil Knight style sugar daddy up on Rocky Top.
I think it's harder to attract guys like elite WRs to a program that doesn't consistently have a guy who can get the ball to them or harder to attract elite RBs if your O Line run blocking is weak.Just throwing this out there: let's say there are still college players today that seek a NC ( as much as they seek $$$ ) . Is it harder for a team like the Vols to attract top talent when they seem unsettled on a QB to this point ?
Yeah, just feels like a poor decision. And we have plenty of examples of QBs coming back for another year and tanking their draft stock. And this is a pretty terrible QB class, itās hard to see him dropping at all. What's he going to do next year when the Jets or the Browns are in the same position.
I don't know. That's a lot of money to give up being #2 overall as a QB
