Staub everything with Tennessee fit which is why he quickly decided to be a Vol.
“It was everything,” Staub said of his short visit. “The facilities, the coaching staff here, the culture they have. It all speaks for itself. The city is second to none. It’s amazing. I’m excited to be a Vol.”
Staub said Tennessee’s sales pitch was not really a factor in being a Vol.
“It’s almost what they didn’t do,” Staub said. “There’s a different energy in Knoxville. It’s a place I want to be and I’m excited to get to work here. The coaching staff is awesome. There’s a lot of continuity here. It’s a great system and I think it’s a great fit.
“
Coach Halzle is awesome. He’s smart. He runs a great offense and he’s a great person. I have enjoyed getting to know him more. I’m just so excited.”
