GMAC numbers

Apparently GMAC weighed in at 207 lbs
Runs 4.53 and Benches 225 x 2

Faizon was 223 lbs
Ran 4.53 and did not bench.
In hs he benched 275 as a sophomore fwiw.

Be interesting to see what these numbers will turn into by July.

Thanks for the info! I'm a bit surprised at the speed for both of them. That's really picking them up and putting them down especially for the 6'6"-ish GMAC.

They time my 40 with an hourglass, and I can probably bench 225 once, after which I will have to go to the ER for two dislocated shoulders.

Then again, I’m 63. Back when I could run with the herd I weighed 185, I wasn’t all that fast, but I could run a long ways, and I could hold my own in the gym.

I figured I would go ahead and post my numbers so that we would have something to talk about when we got tired of talking about GMac.

Which may never happen the way things are going.

I am not ,at all, worried about his weight. He can, he can throw to the sidelines, he can accurately throw the deep ball, he can throw the screens, and he can run a way from most LBs and safeties. I look forward to seen him this Spring and Fall.. The QB battle will be exciting.

He’s 6’6 buddy. For him to look the part that the “to skinny” crowd wants he’d need to weigh 250. 10 pounds on that frame isn’t noticeable.

From what little I have seen of him on film, he has a surprisingly good spin move for a quarterback, which, needless to say, greatly enhances his ability to elude tacklers. His height, frame and mobility remind me, if memory serves me correctly, of a lanky Arkansas quarterback whose name I can't recall.

For a comparison, I picked Trevor Lawrence. Similar height, 220lbs, and hardly muscle bound. He moves pretty well as a QB and takes what hits the NFL still allows on QBs.

I'd like to see G-Mac weigh 215 at least and that's doable from 207 without a doubt.

I've said he's skinny but I'm coming around on him. If Heupel's ready, I guess I'm in.

I have watched highlights on both of them and GMAC can move but I doubt he and Faizon have the same 40 time. Faizon looks much faster on film.

Here is somewhat of a comparison: This NFL QB is currently listed at 6'4" and 217 and is not a good runner at all. He's been in the league for 8 years with a lot of success. Have to think he was around 210, or less, in college, but I don't know. Again, not a good runner at all!! Name is Jared Goff. I'd certainly take Jared Goff with wheels!
