Hey y'all Vol fans! Long time member here. Seeing a lot of whining so I have to step in and see if anyone thinks Peyton is coming to coach Marshall? We know that if he does,he can be the GOAT and we would destroy Bama and everyone else. I believe he would enjoy that more than MNF and getting the chance to coach your son like Deion had been doing would be an absolute dream to most men. Coaching your alma mater and son? We know Heupel is going to the NFL after he wins the Natty. The Neyland Entertainment Center should be open by the time Marshall arrives,what do you guys think about this? Don't call me crazy. I AM crazy. But I'm telling the truth. Go Vols!

Imagine having half a billion dollars. Then what if someone asks you, "Would you mind working 7 days a week for 12+ hours a day for half the year?" I know what my answer would be. And Deion's Pizza Hut money doesn't come close to Peyton's money.

Nah, he can provide the necessary guidance as a parent and personal coach. Why mess with his magical current lifestyle? He can recruit 24/7 365 with winks and camps as an Alum. Why mess that up?

I think Peyton has been coaching anyone in his family who asked him to do it. Why wouldn’t he do it ? He might even ask Coach Cut to be there too. Cut was a TE but somewher/somehow knee all the skills and methods to coach winning QBs.

Somewhere there must be a case study that shows threats of ice and snow leading to a psychotic break in a patient in the South.

There have been many great tn players that people have not mentioned being coach. I think why Peyton keeps being brought up was not just that he was a great player, but much of his greatness came from the cerebral part of the game. He was and is a strategist and that may bode him well in coaching. That being said, I’m not saying he would be a great coach, just understand why many do think that way

I remember Peyton once saying he would never be the HC. He said as of now everyone loves him. He said once he lost a game 1/2 the people would hate him. He said "to hell with that"

I can see there are a bunch of people who are totally dismissive of the fact that Peyton has a deep love for his Tennessee Vols. He also loves his son and I believe would have a more enjoyable experience coaching him and leading us to 4 NCs than he had playing here. He doesn't have to be Saban to be a great coach. Saban was great at cheating and getting the best players by giving them Mercedes and Caddys. Peyton Manning is a much bigger star than Saban was. Peyton has a love for football and I think this is a likely scenario. Peyton would not have to be here working 20 hours per day if he chose to delegate a lot of traditional coaching responsibilities to others and concerned himself with the QBs, recruiting,and being the figurehead. He would be the lead story of every sports show nearly daily. The Peyton and Marshall drama would be infinitely more enjoyable and marketable to the general public than Deion and Shadeur. Peyton has a very comical and loveable personality that would make Tennessee the most loved program in the nation overnight. I have yet to see anyone post any actual reasons to think this is not going to happen. Only jokes about my sobriety and sanity. I assure you that I am sober and more sane than most people here. He's also a likely HOF QB who has always been like a coach on the field. Rivers has deep knowledge of the game and other players have always responded to him well. He isn't just any HS coach
