That's crazy. They have busted their asses all year practicing to help that team get there. Less than a handful of guys never see the field anyway. Most positional backups play on special teams and every team has a specialized long snapper. If you make the 53 man roster, you're deserving of a ringIMO. If back up players make it to the Super Bowl. They should have to have played in a minimum number of snaps, games, etc. to get a ring. Similar to like college red shirting reversed.
So, if Maye gets hurt and Dobbs plays and wins, if he didn't play enough games, still no ring?IMO. If back up players make it to the Super Bowl. They should have to have played in a minimum number of snaps, games, etc. to get a ring. Similar to like college red shirting reversed.
You’re in the running for most unpopular post of the year. Congrats but I respect your opinion. I’m diametrically opposed to you in that I believe every employee of a franchise should get a ring but respect that the owner gets to make that decision. From secretaries, to laundry staff, if the owner wants to spring for a ring to honor the entire team why would you care? There are so many factors that go into championships and the efforts of the many go into reaching the goal.IMO. If back up players make it to the Super Bowl. At least pretend to have a clue. If you ever own an NFL team that wins a SB, you can decide who gets one. There isn't an NFL rule dictating itSimmer down gents!! I know how this works and Dobbs is a great representative of the Vols. I know they practice all year.(so does the practice squad, yet they get nothing). Again my opinion. And we can all have different ones. That’s the great thing about this forum And this nation we live in.

It's up to the team who gets a ring, no?IMO. If back up players make it to the Super Bowl. They should have to have played in a minimum number of snaps, games, etc. to get a ring. Similar to like college red shirting reversed.
Pretty sure the analysts and the water boys get rings, so there's that. Takes a lot of people to make the dream work.IMO. If back up players make it to the Super Bowl. So the Patriots are his 9th team? What's the league record?A true VFL and Vol Legend.
Not bad for a Steely-eyed Missile Man.
