Is the ultimate plan to bankrupt college football... drive out all colleges that aren't competitive on the field... bankrupt fans & donors? OR is it to situate college football for an entirely different economic and product delivery system?

I'm starting to wonder if the NCAA's lack of preemptive action to prevent the chaos created by court decisions was intentional, and even foresightful. It may be that chaos is the better starting point for establishing whatever is coming next.

I don’t know who it is going to be, Temple, Tulsa, New Mexico State, UMass, etc., but you are going to see Division 1-A schools either drop down to Division 1-AA or cut all men’s sports except football, basketball, and maybe baseball. You may even see somebody go the Boston University, Seton Hall,Vermont, Wichita State route and just do away with the football program.

People blame "the NCAA", but the NCAA is made up of the schools. The schools are just as complicit in the downfall (if you want to call it that) of the NCAA. By not forcing their organization to address the issues and/or the way that they have addressed them, the schools are to blame, IMO.
