I don't understand how he can like and respect every other coach in America, which he mentions in literally every pre and post game interview. Come on, you gotta hate some of these coaches!
Especially when guys like SFP drop f bombs in their post game press conferences?

I think he accidentally said the truth out loud.

It's called class
And his faith. Barnes has not always been this type of person- far from it. I remember watching his antics on the sideline when he coached @ Clemson - 19994-1998 - I think.

I don’t recall his demeanor @ Texas but he made chances to his life -reborn Christian- after his daughters had a conversation regarding his behavior.

College and pro sports are totally authentic…
Maybe you can’t understand that the poster I was responding to was about a Tennessee coach concerning his Tennessee players in this thread. It’s obvious to everyone it is going on and has been across the country. If some of you guys are saying it’s going on at Tennessee, then you have information I haven’t heard.

Yeah...daughter and son, who is a missionary in the middle east. I think he's still there. The ones who know us best generally know if our faith is real or fake. Living a fake Christian life can be miserable, as i can attest too many years ago. Rick was paddling in that same boat....until he was faced with the reality of it. Now, Rick is all about living for Christ, regardless of the cost. And when you talk to him one on one...you sense the Holy Spirit in his life.

I 100% believe most games of magnitude are dictated by outside forces; whether that’s officials, players, clock guys etc. There are too many head scratching plays and calls to make me believe otherwise. It’s amazing how close Vegas is so often.

When I heard the remark I thought: maybe he should tell the players that. Sometimes the stupid stuff they do looks like they are trying to shave points or throw games. Gillespie has at least a couple of head-scratching "brain farts" every game. Last night it was those two fouls on 3-point shots.
And right at the end of the Kentucky game. He threw the ball right to a Ky player.

One of the most amazing aspects of sports gambling is how close the over/under usually is and how often the total will swing just over or under on some late game craziness..

This is a lot less to do with Vegas and a lot more to do with online sports betting, which has warped the betting stakes from earlier Vegas sports gambling. You're seeing huge amounts wagered on prop bets for a single player or parlays that were never so common before the gambling apps. The prop bets in particular put the player in a position to have way more effect on way more money than they previously could. To get the kind of payout that could make it worth changing your performance you used to have to move the line for the game, but now you just have to change your rebound total, or your points, etc. That's why you're seeing way more players getting caught up in this gambling mess.
