You put a lot of work into this, and God bless you for it. I wish I knew more than two of these---wait a minute, no I don't.

What is the purpose of walk up music? Is it the player making a personal statement, or is it intended to rouse up the crowd?

...or just drive me to Google for 5 minutes until my brain retches up the cacophonous flotsom of the demise of Western civilization?

😚Not to judge, of course!

@McDad:

A ruling please on the use of “cacophonous flotsam” here.

refers to a chaotic accumulation of, or the noisy presence of, discarded objects and debris. The term combines "flotsam" (floating wreckage or abandoned items) with "cacophonous" (a harsh, discordant mixture of sounds) to describe a scene of disorganized, often overwhelming, junk or wreckage.

Not nearly as elegant as "pablum" but descriptive and sophisticated. It's unnecessarily bulky though.

Verdict: approved 👍
