It’s also worth pointing out they’re (the Big 10) still working off the previous TV contract (signed in 2022) despite the addition of the recent 4 schools the last two years (it’s not expected to be able to be renegotiated until around 2028).

So the $928 million there is coming from prior TV contracts still designed around a conference of 14 teams (ie, no L.A., Seattle, Portland, etc, nor USC, Oregon, UCLA, Washington factored into it).
