I remember a time when I would have been offended if somebody said GA football was anywhere comparable to the Vols, but that was long ago.

They've passed us in all-time wins, SEC wins, SEC championships and head to head. We still have all-time winning percentage but probably won't for much longer unless Kirby leaves.

Yeah 5 to 4. I wasn't going to get into that though because it's debatable. We have 2 AP natties and they have 3. I think all of our claimed titles, except 1967 are legit claims though (so 38', 40', 50', 51' and 98') . I think all of the ones they claim are, 22', 21', 1980 obviously and then 1942 is just a case where most of the voters picked Ohio State because 9/10 voters at the time were in the northeast footprint.

Georgia is actually not like Bama or Auburn with bogus title claims, they went unbeaten and untied in 1946 and don't claim it and won the Litkenhous national championship in 1968 (like we did in 1967), but they don't claim 1968.
