'26 TN WR Brayden Carroll (Tennessee)

He said the Vols reached out to him "about two weeks ago" leading up to National Signing Day to talk with him about the possibility of adding him to their class. The decision to sign with Tennessee was a relatively easy one for Carroll because he grew up wanting to play for the Vols. "It's a great school with great leaders in the (wide-receiver) room," he said, "and it's my dream school."

Carroll racked up 1,240 all-purpose yards and 22 total touchdowns during his senior season. He received offers from Cincinnati, Appalachian State, Tulane, Middle Tennessee, Army and Navy in addition to Tennessee.

Starting to stack bodies in what has been an undermanned unit for years. Love the idea of signing local three star kids like Cooper and Carroll. Let them get the needed reps and develop with hopes they can find a role on the team in the coming years.

The staff was looking for in-state 105 guys during this post Early Signing Day period and got some good depth pieces. Carroll is a good player that was willing to take a PWO. I understand why he wasn't a P4 guy with those programs getting a bigger and more experienced transfer to fill in as that vertical threat, but he has solid size and can win downfield while being moved around. Thought he was a high G5 caliber prospect personally. He was the best player available in the state imo
