We used to....I remember taking a bus ride to a Kentucky game in Lexington a few years back.I have never understood why we don't do this! Vandy, Georgia, and Kentucky would be great opportunities to allow fans to go to the closer away games. Even SC wouldn't be bad. I know SC brought a fan bus to Knox last year.
Back in the 70's, they had 5 or 6 busloads of UT fans leaving out of Memphis to Ole Piss, Mississippi State and a few other places for basketball games. Yes, having charter buses for away games used to be a regular thing. It was something the Lady Vols used to be very proud of. In fact, I remember the time Glory Johnson was asked in an interview if she thought Tennessee fans would make the trip to whatever game they were about to play, and she chuckled before saying, "If we were to play a game on the moon there would be at least one bus load of Lady Vol fans there."We used to....I remember taking a bus ride to a Kentucky game in Lexington a few years back.
