The judge doesn't seem to be buying the reasoning of Aguilar's attorney. It sounds like He doesn't want to make a ruling that sets a precedent over other states and their laws.

this judge seems to think that because Faizon is getting paid $6mil and Joey is getting paid $2mil then its proof that the rule doesn't depress wages lol

Maybe Faizon would be earning $8mil absent the Juco rule!

The whole argument that Joey's attorney is making is that by disqualifying Joey and other JUCO athletes you are taking away more experienced players and lowering the competition. But he is struggling to quantify that difference to the judge and the economic impact it may or may have on the state.

yeah, the lawyer is not doing a good job of explaining the economics very well imo
