Dang. I was hoping that this was just some sort of rumor. My heart hurts for his family and friends. I always enjoyed his coverage of the Vols.

Young son and another child on the way.

I honestly can’t get my head around it.
God bless his family and their support system!!!! 🙏

When you think what you say and do doesn’t affect others, think again! So many people outpouring support for his family and unborn child is proof of our spiritual connection to others, even people we are not personal friends with!

Golly sometimes life just isn’t fair. I remember he had a stroke and had to learn how to walk again. He had a wife and young child with another on the way. He was a Vol through and through. Does anyone know of a gofundme has been set up yet?

Geez we went through Knoxville almost 24 hours earlier coming back from the Mtns.

You have these idiots driving 80 mph and weaving in and out of traffic on I-40. Its amazing we don't have more tragedies like these.

Deepest sympathy to the family.

Yes, one is set up. According to the write up Wes did not have life insurance as he was still working through the new job transition.

It has become a major traffic issue all across Tennessee. I live in the western part of the state and its epidemic. I THINK all the state troopers newly assigned in this area have made a slight difference (very slight). Speed is an absolute killer, especially when approaching an unseen traffic accident with traffic at a stand still on the interstate.
