Todd McShay Show reports that McCoy’s agent has become a bit of a “pain.” ​

“I do want to make this point, and it’s not just because Jermod McCoy hasn’t worked out. We’ll see how he works out at Tennessee’s Pro Day, assuming he does.” He continued, “My gosh, people in the league are so fed up with his agent. And it’s none of my business, but it’s the same thing I said to Shemar Stewart last year: They work for you. I’m not gonna mention names, but his agent is one of the best in the business at representing players. And is a total pain in the ass, and people in the league hate him because he’s a pain in the ass and does a good job by his clients for the most part. But there are some things that occur during the process that I don’t think send a favorable message.”

Just from my laymans pov, I'd be leary of drafting a guy so high that was out a year and coming off a major injury.
Didn't he only have that 1 good year before the injury?

I expect him to be taken late in the 1st or early in the 2nd. He would have been a top 10 lock had he not torn his ACL.

Unless he runs every drill at pro day with acceptable metrics, Hood will be picked before him. I’m definitely pulling for the kid and he’s clearly talented, but agents man. Don’t ever forget the screw job Heath Shuler’s agent put on him. Advising him to hold out in preseason and putting his transition way behind. I saw Shuler’s last play as a Washington Redskin in person at RFK, and I’ve never heard booing so loud for a player. Totally avoidable. Tom Condon ruined him. I hope McCoy can see the issues before it’s too late.

A team in need of a CB will probably take a gamble on him in round one, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go in round 2.

Missing an entire year will probably give teams pause. ACL injuries really shouldn’t take a year to heal.
