Yes, the confusion about the Ole Miss mascot became crystal clear during Kiffin’s tenure. Alumni and fans may not have embraced it, but the college football world knew them to be the Fainting Goats.

Even IF Neyland is one of the hardest stadiums for a visitor to play in, they are highlighting the longstanding classic Texas vs Tennessee matchup???

Texas is a paper tiger. That first year in the league they were set up for success by the schedule. They aren't going to know what hit them going into alot of these SEC venues, as they learned with Florida and Georgia last year.

Environment and fans can only do so much. Defense ultimately has to do its part for a place to be intimidating. Vandy had 20 different plays they could call and never be in fear for our defense stopping them. There was no intimidation factor at all bc they could run the ball at will.

I will say I am surprised by us being the number 1 atmosphere still ranked by Josh pate. I noticed a significant drop off specifically during the Arkansas and vandy game. In my section when vandy got ball after half and it was tied up 3/4 of people were sitting down. I hope our atmosphere this year can go back to what it was before.

In my section when vandy got ball after half and it was tied up 3/4 of people were sitting down. I hope our atmosphere this year can go back to what it was before.

I knew I wasn’t going crazy. When I went to the Arkansas game, it felt like the first half of all the other games I’ve been too (which were FCS/week 1 cupcake games) looking at the decibel meter was nothing compared to the shots of Bama or Florida in ‘24
