Iron sharpens iron. I grew up in the midstate. Not a Vandy fan, but I am glad they are at least relevant. They've been dormats for too long. Everybody loves an underdog, right? I just can't bring myself to hate Vandy.

Vandy beating UF in basketball yesterday was awesome! Would have preferred to see the Vols beat down the Gators. But any day the Florida loses is a great day for me!

I know certain teams have certain wealthy and motivated boosters. Texas Tech currently comes to mind.

But butts in seats will eventually = NIL. Talent fee, advertising $'s, etc. I don't think Vandy can be rich without actual fans.

Wealthy donors didn't become wealthy by investing their money with no expectation of a return.
