Scale 1-10, how are y'all feeling about this season

Null for me. No value. With all the comings and goings, I have no sense of continuity anymore. I don't even know who's what on on our roster. And that goes for every team we face too. So I'm not nervous. I'm not anything about it. It'll just be whatever it is.

If they someone go on a tear and get to 5-0 or something like that, then I'll get a little nervous. For old time's sake.

6.5. Tougher schedule combined with a new defensive scheme. Really depends on how quickly they can pick up the scheme. On paper, our defense looks better than this past season. Which isn’t saying a whole lot

Apathy has set in for me. I simply don’t care anymore. The players only care about how much money they can make. Zero loyalty from the players means zero loyalty from me. The college game has been ruined in my opinion. Most good players will be on 2 to 3 teams before their semi-pro career is over. And I don’t want to hear “I’m home” from a single recruit. It’s complete BS.

Ready as always. Really anxious to see how the quarterbacks and the secondary perform. Then how much tougher we are at the LOS and if we can become consistent there. Running back is dependent on Bishop and Morris, a lot of folks take this position too much for granted. Hopefully these 2 can carry the and we land more elite talent there in the next few years. I'm with most others in that 6 to 7 area.
Tougher schedule, another new QB, new Defensive strategy are all dings.
But in the pluses are upgraded roster in several key places, even though still young there's a lot of returning experience, upgraded Defense coaching and upgraded S&C.

I'm calling it 8 wins, likely a return to Music City Bowl, possibly a Florida bowl.
Should be a fun season that sets up 2027 very nicely barring anything catastrophic happening.

I’d say 5.5. Too much riding on an unproven QB and a shaky defense. That could change quickly but I’ve learned after all these years that having high expectations as a TN rarely leads to anything good.

Good home schedule and got 2 sons who will be living together at 11th place where I’ll be grilling pregame or postgame each week and hanging out with them and friends.
That’s what it’s become about for me and I love football season. Can’t wait. When March ends, it’s a boring time till then.

After looking at the RB room, behind Bishop , this room doesn’t all that great on paper. Heard the staff is high on Morris, but if Bishop gets banged up we may be in trouble.
Bishop is not a true #1 either. I’m high on Morris as well but we should have talent stacked at RB and we don’t. Bishop is the type of back who starts at South Carolina, Missouri, Kentucky, not TN. Id feel better if he was the 2nd or 3rd option. Morris should take that number one spot though.

5.

I don’t really look forward to the season, nor get excited in the offseason any longer, especially this time of year. Will start ramping up some in fall practice with my excitement.

But, ultimately, I’ll see what we have when we play GT.

I don’t understand the lack of respect for Bishop. 4th in sec in yards and a lot less carries than the 3 in front of him. 5.9 ypc is nice as well.
Answered your own question, he flew under the radar because he didn't get the ball a ton, also the fact he shared the backfield with two other solid backs I'm sure plays a role in that
