The Manning family quarterback tree continues to spread.

Peyton Manning’s son has put in a claim to be the actual heir to his father’s throne, while garnering attention for his performance during a 7-on-7 football event in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

One would think we have the inside track if we continue to show that we are serious about winning by bringing in high caliber players and coaches. Scheme needs to be tweaked every year to make the most of our talent and keep other teams off balance. I think the next 2 or 3 years are critical in whether Heup can take us to another level or not. For the most part I am happy with his coaching job so far, but it's time now to take it up a notch or two.

What class is Marshall in? 2030?
Wonder what teams have a current coach that will be the coach in 2030?

It will be very few - Tennessee if this season shows promise with the revamped Defense and 2027 goes according to plan, Likely UGA unless Kirby just decides he's had enough, maybe LSU if the Lane experiment pans out, unless Texas does something this year I don't see Sark being there in 30, same for Bama and Deboer, Elko at aTm, Cignetti at IU?, Day at tOSU - not sure there's many other places he would consider as a path to the NFL.

My opinion, if I had to say right now, it would come down to Tennessee (he would have us in the consideration because of his Mom and Dad and the relationship with the school and Heupel), UGA. LSU, and my two dark horses would be IU and aTm.

I would be shocked if he even talks to Kiffin. General principals multiplied by the way he treated Peyton’s school and more recently Archie and Eli’s school.

I can’t imagine him going to Tennessee. He will have enormous pressure on him and if he was a Vol it would be magnified 10 fold.
I doubt he will have much pressure on him if he came to Tennessee..If he does come and has a problem with pressure because of his Dad then he is not the player we are anyone else needs on their team. I believe he has enough of his Dad's genes to play with confidence and conviction. Pressure is a sin of lack of confidence and a I am certain he has and will have an abundance of confidence.

If I were advising him, you just can’t go play somewhere that your dad’s name is on the locker room tunnel leading on to the field.

I’d tell him to go to Duke or somewhere without the pressure and spotlight.
Or if he truly ends up looking Heisman good, then I’d give Ole Miss a serious look- his grandfather would love it.

Even before what they did to Ole Miss the Mannings HAAAATTTTED Kiffin. Pretty sure Arch never spoke with Ole Miss
I was actually happy he left Ole Miss. I already hated LSU so I can double down. Historically kind of pulled for da Rebels due to the Manning connection. Not happy with the CUT departure, but not on my hate list.

I hope he doesn't have some of his dad's genes, in Heupel's offense you can't be a statue lol. Hope he has archie's genes when it comes to wheels

I don't get all the talking down about coming here. If he can play and reaches senior year wanting to come to Tennessee, then hell, come to Tennessee. What pressure would he feel from the fans? As long as he's competent and can battle for the starting job, who would get on his case? And if he's good, why on Earth would you want him going somewhere else anyway?
