The Film Guy grinds some QB tape...

I was surprised to see this video popup on my feed. Wasn't expecting a spring camp break down from The Film Guy but hey he knows TN brings the clicks

If what he said about Faizon being one of those coachable kids that you can tell to fix something and it's done GMac better bring his A Game, I'm pretty sure he'll start but if he stumbles or gets hurt he may find himself at the #2 spot

Duane Morris at 15:00 ish is what I’ve been talking about with his feet and jump cuts.

By far the quickest and shiftiest back on the roster. Excited that he is likely RB2 this year alternating series with Bishop...and I love Bishop because the hometown guy has worked as hard or harder than anyone on that roster to get to where he is. Hes tough and always falls forward. Morris just adds a different dimension in space or creates space himself like he does in the clip. It will be interesting to see if Baker or 1 of the new backs can steal some snaps from the RB3 spot here and there.

I like it. That's encouraging 👍
Idk how encouraging it can be, to hear an analysis that says a quarterback who's been in high school and is going to be a freshman, is likely better than a premium-rated quarterback who's been in a division-one football program for over a year, under a coach that is supposed to be adept and specialize at teaching specifically QBs.
*Just riffing off the Film Guy's analysis for conjecture, not a personal assessment or qualified opinion
Having said that and furthermore, where is CJH with the QB whispering and coaching acumen to fix the habitual mechanical flaws of his pupil(s)?
With the numerous times CJH has lucked into having to play his best "gamer", and the apparent lack of development with younger incumbent QBs, should we revisit the notion that CJH is as efficient coaching QBs as we have convinced ourselves (Volnation) he is?

I think there are several encouraging factors.

We landed Gmac who was a 5* at one point and very highly rated, qualifying for Elite11 before being hurt.
Then we landed FB who is a consensus 5* (top32 player) on every service and #1QB in the nation, #1ranked recruit period til he also got hurt in HS. Best in his class IMO.
Gmac was said to have the best command of the offense and decision making even up to and including the spring game in 2025.
CJH was able to take an unheralded transfer QB last year and have him break 3000yds passing and led the SEC in passing yards.
We have 2 elite QBs on roster, the younger of which has the talent level to likely be one of the best we have ever had.
Iron sharpens Iron. These 2 will elevate eachother.
Both QBs have cannons and touch on deep balls. Both are healthy with no injuries.
