I know what you mean. I noticed her comment about "being as old as dirt", incidentally a favorite quote of mine as well. However, she was such a young woman when she passed. People often ask me who is my favorite UT sport's figure. I am older so these names are not recent. Many expect to hear Manning, White, King, Grunfeld, or Holloway (football and baseball). No, it will always be Summitt. Back when I was at UT and there was a Daily Beacon story about a new women's basketball coach. I went to see one of the first games she coached and was hooked from that point forward.
