Coming out of the timeout with two minutes to go up 20 and Estrella rolls his ankle, there is no good reason he or any of the other significant players are in the game. Why not just throw in your deep reserves and walk on players to get minutes in dance? I find this inexcusable to say the least.

Ament I think we are all ok with sitting, if it was tight I am sure he would be in there but his play was concerning nonetheless. Regardless big win, proud of Vols and we can all agree they exceeded expectations. Feel good about Sunday

Just a guess but I think JP is fine. He was jogging. If he was full speed or coming down it’s a different story with the pounds of pressure on a roll

A lot of times with rolled ankles the pain doesn't set in until the swelling does. He might be "okay" tonight and barely be able to walk tomorrow. And I believe that is the same foot that kept him out last year. Here's hoping

Estrella is fine. just a simple ankle roll stepping on a foot. he gets the day off tomorrow. we good.

now whatever the hell is wrong with Ament is a mystery. if a player of his supposed calibre scores no points something is missing. even Michael Jordan scored points with the flu. if you're on the court you should be able to score. I can't figure out his deal.

Obviously you’ve never coached. And coaches aren’t psychics. You would have never thought anything about it unless someone has an injury. Go Vols!

Oh I know seems like I wore an aircast constantly. Still to his advantage that it wasn’t violent.

Personally I think Ament is the much bigger concern. Not only was he scoreless, he showed no aggression and seemed borderline timid. If this is the Ament we get on Sunday, I think a team like Virginia can do a lot more to exploit that and work on limiting JG than our opponent today could.

Injuries are a crapshoot, can happen anytime, practice, game, etc. Maybe there was "no good reason" to take him out at the time. Who knows?

He looked lethargic - most likely due to lingering injury issues. But, he looked like he could be sick??
That’s what I posted. Time will tell.

I hate when any player is unable to play or definitely hampered with an injury during the dance.

March madness is so much for the kids and fans. A time for the unknown player to make a name for himself and the superstars to shine in the biggest stage.
