Worst Lady Vols team ever?

Has there been a worse team lady Vols team in the last 30-35 years? Trying to look back on it and I’m sure there is but can’t find it.
35 years? Try 50. Summitt went 16-11 in 1976 before women’s basketball was even a sanctioned NCAA sport. Caldwell has taken the program to new lows. Danny will be along to gaslight the fans.

This team is way worse.
Both wre awful, but the 2018-19 team was way more talented: Rennia Davis, Rae Burrell, Evina Westbrook, Zay Green, Mimi Collins and Jazmin Massengill were all on that team, and the first two were future All-SEC players and the last 4 all had very good careers once they transferred out.

You may have a point. Still, they weren’t cussing their coach on the sideline and setting new records in margin of defeat.

The team that lost to Ball State in the tournament was not good.
They really weren't that bad. They just looked bad compared to the higher expectations from before. 22 wins, top 4 finish in the SEC, a few good wins and very few bad losses. The Ball State loss was an aberration, not an indictment of their season.

This season was simply difficult to watch. Poorly coached team. I have no clue why CKC had such a love affair with Spearman. She was not a smart player at all this year. How many end of half or last shot of the game did we fail to even get off? It’s all on the coach to put five on the floor that gives you a chance to win. Mass exodus fixing to happen. Maybe they take KC with them. She just looks lost. No improvement from season one. No sophomore jinx either. She just seems lost every game. Look how bad our third quarters have been. No adjustments at the half. Depressing.

If you think half times have been bad for us, prolonged periods of coaching and practice have been nightmarish for this team. Once again we came off a long break and started a game looking completely lost and unprepared. Got our asses immediately kicked.

Prolonged exposure to coaching was a big drag on this team all year.

Worst coached, for sure. Under any other coach's system, I'm confident this group of players would have fared better this season. It was a system/coach failure that killed the team's chances at success.

And don't bother reminding me that "it's not the coaches missing all those shots!" I know the coach isn't taking the shots, but it's the coach who gets players in the right mindset and readiness to compete, and if players have no confidence in their coach, and at the same time are constantly taking all the blame for a coach's failed tactics, then the coach kinda IS causing those shots to clang.

It's time for Caldwell or Danny White to go. It's that simple.
Seriously? Fire the Athletic Director who has taken revenue to unprecedented levels, won the SEC All-Sports trophy, has the best baseball, football, and basketball (plus other staff) in Vol history because the women's basketball coach has failed? Yep, let's all get on board with this foolishness. Talk about simple.

People are angry at him over the baseball situation with Vitello and now this. Some of it is justified
