You aren’t going to find any flights reasonably priced four days out. Your best bet is to hop in the car and make the 8 hour drive. If you are going would like to know where other Vols are sitting and if anyone is familiar with the seating there? Like where is best value seating? Any other info too like flights out of Knoxville etc too? Thanks!
And Bama fans in sections 109-111.These are the UT sections

If you're wanting to fly to Chicago Friday, you might want to get to the airport a little early, considering the current circumstances. Say, about Thursday. If you are going would like to know where other Vols are sitting and if anyone is familiar with the seating there? Like where is best value seating? NCAA Corporate Partners, Bulls Season Ticket Holders, Blackhawks Season Ticket Holders, City/State Officials. United Center suite holders, and the general public.Whats the rest of the stadium for?
Thanks for info and good pointNCAA Corporate Partners, Bulls Season Ticket Holders, Blackhawks Season Ticket Holders, City/State Officials. United Center suite holders, and the general public.
80%-90% of the tickets at every venue are sold several months before the bracket is announced. The participating schools only get a few hundred tickets each. For example, every school only got 400 tickets for their 1st/2nd round site. I believe the regional participants each get 1,250, if I'm not mistaken.
Think about how ridiculous and nearly impossible it would be to try and sell 22,000 tickets to four schools who find out just five days in advance they're playing in the regional.
Diagonal from their opponent, so Iowa State's sections are behind the bench in 101-103 across from the Alabama sections, and Michigan's fans will be behind the other bench in 120-122 (directly across from our fans).Know what sections Iowa State and Michigan are?
Thanks. I did not know all that. Very interesting and I appreciate your response.Diagonal from their opponent, so Iowa State's sections are behind the bench in 101-103 across from the Alabama sections, and Michigan's fans will be behind the other bench in 120-122 (directly across from our fans).
There's a system in place for this - the highest two seeds in a session always get the sections behind their team's bench, while the lower two seeds are always across from their team's bench. The NCAA has been doing it that way for as long as I can remember.
Obviously when it's a regional final or the championship game and there are only two teams, each team has seats behind their respective benches.
I have been flying regularly the last two weeks without any issued. However, I have not been flying out of "woke" cities. If you are flying out of Knoxville, you should be ok. Getting back from Chicago...good luck.If you're wanting to fly to Chicago Friday, you might want to get to the airport a little early, considering the current circumstances. Say, about Thursday.

I wouldn’t walk anywhere in Chicago that late at night. I’ve lived in the area since 1980. Better off driving in and paying to park. How would taking the train in from the west (Oak Park) be especially at the time of night that the game will end? How is the walk from the nearest station to the United Center?
Believe it. I hate to say that. The only time I go into the city I Uber right to where I’m going and then Uber back home. Uber could be an option but it would be a zoo after the game.Thanks. Obviously lots of bad national press about Chicago right now and can be hard to know how much of that is real.
