So how did the SEC do in March this year?

Florida - A No 1 seed and the reigning national champions didn't even get through the 1st weekend

Vanderbilt - I suppose beating McNeese is a win of sorts, but that was it

Texas A&M - no shame losing to Houston a protentional winner, whoops sorry, Houston lost in the next round

Arkansas - did make the Sweet Sixteen but then giving up 109 points is not going to get it done.

Texas - actually had a decent tournament but when you cannot make the 64 cut then don't plan on any ceremonies hanging banners in the rafters

Missouri - were here and gone in a blink shouldn't this University be renamed Misery

Georgia - Lets face it how can you take this lot seriously for instance when they were asked "are you happy with the coach?" they replied "yes it is comfy and we can all travel to the game together"

Alabama - It seems that the selection committee were not the only ones "high" in Alabama

Kentucky - The Wildcats found out you can lose a double digit lead as well as win one, and any season when Calipari lasts longer in the tournament, it is considered a failure

So then there was one -so which team did not even get a double bye at the SEC tournament, a team that I've seen more accurate shooting from the 6th Floor Book Depository than from the Free Throw Line, a team with its star with a gimpy ankle. Yes, the team is called Tennessee Volunteers. OK it might end tomorrow, it might not, but we are the pride of the SEC for certain

That is why draw is soooooo important. Let’s face it, up until this point, it could not have been better in terms of match up. There wasn’t a 3 seed in the tourney we couldn’t have beaten, and I think we hit the weakest one, especially after losing Jefferson. Falling to the 6 was the best thing that could have happened.

Obviously that changes tomorrow. Barnes crafted a genius game plan to take out their best 3 point shooter. Great obseevarion from the TV crew on how we face guarded him all night.

If Barnes somehow finds a way to beat Michigan it will be the biggest win in UT basketball history. This Michigan team is better than Houston or Purdue that put us out.

It looks like Barnes has diverted from his past preparation philosophy and rested His team.

NCAA tourney is all about match ups. Sometimes you get a bracket that gets broken up wide open and I go back to Florida Atlantic going to final four a few years back and that was a chance for Tennessee to make it. We have made the final 8 the past three years which is great. The past two seasons we have been beat by a one seed that made championship game only to lose. Michigan is another one seed and we have to hope they play and shoot not as well and Tennessee is on top of their game tomorrow. Would be nice to make a final four. Go Vols.

I sure am worn out today after last night's late game that was AWESOME! But I'm so hopeful today and for tomorrow that we're going to beat Michigan tomorrow afternoon and I hope to see us in the Final Four this year ad I need that to happen! God Vols. Beat Gib Blue Mich!!

Always fun watching Kentucky and Bama get beat. Arkansas played probaly the best team in the tourney. Arizona is pretty good.

We have taken advantage of favorable matchups (and an injury in case you hadn’t heard). Still, the Vols have played good team basketball and deserve to be where they are. Now the matchup is stacked heavily against us but all you ever want is a chance against one of the best. Play loose and let it fly!

Yea, I want TN to make the final four but they are capable of winning the whole thing with some good shooting. The defense is rock solid.
