Rice going to USC screwed himself and then screwed us from not having a 3rd scoring threat from the perimeter.

Freeman got sold a bad bag of goods and he wasn't impressive but he would've helped this team.

Brown was the surprise of our pick ups. I'm very impressed.

Evans was exactly what we thought he would be. Which was perfect.

Ament was getting better as the season went on. He is truly talented and would be amazing for another year, but go make that cash.

Ja’Kobi was amazing, I keep hoping we find a magical year of eligibility for him. He had some bone head fouls, but thats because he was trying to make something happen. I'll never roast someone giving 100% effort and that's what he did.

I look forward to see how the team grows and dont look forward to fighting off the vultures trying to pick the meat from our bones in this world of NIL

Barnes did better with this group than anyone would have hoped for. No question about it. But to get to the Final Four we are going to have to beat powerhouses and that riddle has not been figured out yet.

Two years ago against Purdue was our best chance but Edey was unstoppable and was allowed to do anything by the refs. We had a one man offense that game with Knecht while others didn’t rise to the occasion.

I am hoping Tennessee doesn’t lose any of the guys we have. All of them are good players. Just need a couple of pieces to put together another good team. Barnes will find them.

Gillespie/Lanier/Ament are all good players. But Knecht had the ability to take over a game to a level those guys couldn’t. He had teams game planning around him specifically, and he would shred said plan in the first 5 minutes of the game. It’s really a shame we couldn’t break through that year.

We beat a 2 and a 3.

There is a 2 and a 3 in the final 4.

Many "experts" had Iowa State in the final 4 and we beat them by 14.

Yeah, our path was fairly good for the first two rounds, but the path forward was formidable. We got past Iowa State, but Michigan and then Arizona were huge roadblocks.

All we can do is load up again, and hope that we peak at the right time, and get a couple of favorable bounces, or favorable draws.

Every player with an agent is going to hit the portal to gauge their value on the free market. Their agents are also making deals in the background before the portal opens. It looks quiet but things are moving fast. I am sure our guys are right in the middle of it.
