Not to start him. Based on Peyton and Tee. Sorry xfinity crashed on me trying to post that.
He has to be able to make throws and efficiently run the offense, other than be able to just run. I think he’s gonna be successful here, but you just don’t start the guy bc he has wheels. Didn’t work out too well when we did that w/ Schaeffer. I think GMac might be a little quicker than he gets credit for also.

Say what???...

I think you are trying to compare a never before seen Brandon with a 4yr experienced Martin that had seen SEC action before becoming the starter, is that right?

How about we let the kid get through the first spring, maybe see how he does in fall camp, get some playing time against Furman and Kennesaw State, maybe see how he does against Ga Tech ???
Then put him in against an SEC team like an Auburn or Arkansas before we try to crown him as the next coming of a National Champion...

I got to think after watching the Vols basketball team led by freshmen you don’t bench superstars which is what we may have here.

I get what you're saying but basketball is a little different than basketball, especially the way the game is played today.
The QB has try and recognize what the defense is doing presnap and post snap

Basketball is a little different than basketball…. I get more confused by the minute.

I’m of course just busting your balls. Probably the only thing constructive that will occur in this thread 😂

Correct me if I’m wrong wasn’t Schaeffer doing well before his incident?

Fission is good enough to win games for us.
So is GMAC.

We will need to win in all phases. Faizon will make some critical plays with his feet. He’s just as fast as T Martin.

I think both play this year. I do think George has a large head start though. Heupel is very resistant to playing a true freshman. But I could see Faizon finishing the year if George struggles
