Seeing as we don't have any looks like it is going to be tough to fill the 4-5 positions. Right now a likely prospect for us would be Pania Davis of Florida St which I considered not a take before she became a take as a lot of players have suddenly become for Tennessee. Here are most of the top post players in the portal that we be entering tomorrow.

I consider her the best going into the portal at this time certainly the player with the most potential.

Another solid post player does not really fit anything Kim does, but very few post players do.

Very strong offensive player more suited to the half court game better running the floor than you would think.

Could be a breakout player had solid stats for 18 minutes a game.

We have one of the Assistants from there might be an option. Not a very good shooter evidently.

She is a strong and tough player really physical. She fits Kim's system not an effective scorer her defense is very good.

Experienced player scores well inside would be someone that would give you consistent play.

Evidently can't make a layup as her 38 percent shooting is quite awful for a player that plays close to the basket.

Solid player shoots threes at 29 percent which tops what our last post players could do.

So of these the first one you go after is Woolfolk. I like Naomi Jones even if not a big scorer for Bama she is solid defensively and physical inside player. Aleesa Molina is a great all around player that could give you good minutes. These would probably be my top three for the way we play. Pania Davis someone that might be on our radar because of Ferrara is certainly better than Wolfenbarger and maybe in line with what Latham was providing.

That is the ones I have right now. If you have any to add would be happy to see them. Were needing at least three inside players maybe just two big posts and the rest would more than likely be stretch fours inside out players.

I agree we do need a couple bigs. But with Kim's system. If they can not run the floor it is not a good fit. I just think Lady Vols should go back to regular basketball like everyone else. Because this style is not going to work in D1 basketball.

I agree and evidently were not going to do that so we still have to try and play with who we can get. Certainly not ideal, but right now these are the best, really don't expect many other players to get in that fill these positions that will be any better.,

Feels like it can't be a back to the back traditional post situation but more of a stretch forward who can give you presence inside?

Maybe Jaleesa or Naomi

What about:

Here is my total replacement roster know we could never be able to get all these some on here might certainly be coming here.

Sole Williams
Naomi White
Zamereya Jones
Shannon Dowell
Esmeralda Galligo
Kyomi McMiller

Addy Brown
Jaida Civil
Gabby Minus
Nene Ndiaye

Gracie Merckle
Sa'myah Smith
Khamil Pierre

Think this might be a team that could finish in top six in the SEC and make the NCAA.

this is a solid team, wouldn't be mad at it. I would hesitate on Kyomi only because I'm worried about locker room issues but otherwise this team could win some games

I'm going to treat this like we're an expansion team. We're the Toronto Tempo or the Portland Fire right now. the portal = unprotected players available for our expansion draft. right players for our system and we can make some noise.

After the locker room issues this last season I quit worrying. She was not a problem this season. She really had problems as a freshmen, but the coach she had was certainly sharing in the blame.

I hope you are right, of course, but it's worrying that even in this best-case scenario we'll still have only one player (sophomore Civil) that won't require half a season to fully get a handle on Kim's system. Caldwell is going to be reminding everyone, as she has for her entire coaching career, that the first half of the season is going to be ugly and there will be losses and the players will hate her...

... but that by the end of the season when every other team is worn out and worn down our players will LOVE Kim because they'll all be in great shape and winning when it matters most.

We'll see if that happens next season. I hope so.

Except this is not what has happened either year.

She can't control the timeouts and stoppage in a game. There are media time outs, challenges, other coaches calling time outs.

This season were a lot of wins early on - but at least 11 of those were against teams we should have beat regardless of the system. So we lost down the stretch when we played the teams loaded with talent and good coaches.

What percentage without do not contact tag on there name in the transfer portal?

Realistically who would come here considering all but 1 player jumped ship, the coach on a hot seat, and all kinds of negativity surrounding the program? Players have choices today. Is this program at this time a good choice?
I hope I’m wrong but this mess could be just the tip of the iceberg.
If we see a sign posted for tryouts on April 21st we will know we didn't get anybody or at least not enough.
