Wish I could watch…with the next portal not being until the end of the year what does it hurt to show these anymore?

Nico says hi 👋 (Lol)

.....but seriously I saw a break down earlier this week talking about other teams scouting and potentially poaching players from teams after watching spring practice. The argument was if they transferred during the summer or right after spring ball, would the NCAA actually do anything? 🤷‍♂️........guess no school wants to take a chance.

It does suck, im in central florida and would love to watch the game.

I find it odd they don’t live stream this on YouTube or the .edu website. Wouldn’t it be a great way to build interest in the program and possibly NIL donation opportunities as well?
Yes, they could easily stream it on their dedicated YouTube channel and have sponsors to basically pay for it on top of generating views revenue but there might be a conflict with the tv deal with the SEC and profit sharing.

No SEC teams are. I suspect it's not a team decision but a contract issue with the SEC's carrier so teams can't "self stream or broadcast" the games.

Just a suspicion but no SEC teams are streaming that I have seen.

Want to see both QB comepete hard.

Need someone to flash at RB. Somebody needs to grab RB2 spot. Bishop did that in 2024 and that helped Samson to the big season he had by keeping him fresh.
George MacIntyre is looking really well in his progression. He is able to shift his vision quickly. He did have one overthrow in this portion on an out route, but that can be expected.

• Faizon Brandon did well in his first few reps. His biggest critique is needing to throw the checkdown sooner than he is, but he went an easy 3/3 in his first few reps against a defensive set ahead of the scrimmage.

In order to receive the updates, make sure you refresh the story. This story will be updated frequently. If you would rather get updates via X, you can do so by following @CalebSisk_ on X.

Drive 1: Ryan Staub is in to start the scrimmage. Hunter Barnes picks up a solid gain, but it is now 3rd and 7. Staub delivers a huge deep pass for a touchdown. Carson Whitehead is the player who scored on that. The kick is up and good.

Drive 2: George MacIntyre delivers an extremely high pass to Staley to get the drive going. A flag sets the Vols back to 2nd and 9. A pass to Staley goes for four yards. MacIntyre throws a checkdown to the far side. Completed to DeSean Bishop for a first down. MacIntyre goes deep, but doesn't connect. The pass was to a player covered, and he overthrew the intended receiver. A ball goes through the hands of Deon Hardin, and the Vols will have to punt.

Drive 3: Here comes Faizon Brandon. Brandon escapes the pocket, but overthrows a wide receiver. Brandon is great at climbing the pocket here today. Maybe not the best decision now that the Vols will have to punt the ball.

Drive 4: Ryan Staub bobbles the snap. Staub uses his legs and does well, but still needs to get a first down here. Staub throws a heckdown that is shot down by TJ White.

Drive 5: MacIntyre is back on the field. He has a great zip on the ball. He climbs the pocket, but Jordan Norman gets there. He has had a solid day today. MacIntyre threads the needle on a crossing route for around 20 yards. A beautiful pass to the outside. Cole Harrison was the tight end on the receiving end right there. A rush by Justin Baker goes for five. Norman gets his second sack on the drive. That ends the drive.

Drive 6: Brandon goes deep, but it is overthrown. RaRa Jackson wanted a PI call, but he didn't get that. Brandon hasn't looked the best in his first few drives, but he has shown some flashes worth mentioning. He had a huge completion for a first down on 3rd and long. Staley drops a wide-open pass. DeSean Bishop is bouncing off defenders. A check route gets another first down for the true freshman. Brandon overthrows another deep ball. This would be to the same side he has thrown the others. Qua Moss is playing great coverage in this portion. This will force a punt.

Drive 7: Staub is sacked to open the drive. Staub escapes the pocket and runs free before he runs out of bounds. Hands to the face will be tacked on, and the Vols are finding some heat here with Staub. Staub's deep ball was beautiful, but dropped by Whitehead. Brayden Rouse is playing some solid defense here. Another punt.

Drive 8: Another dropped ball hurts the offense on play one. Play two results in a huge hit, but Ian Duarte holds on to it. Brandon is running free. He is much faster than the other quarterbacks. The Vols will punt.

Drive 9: Staub is in yet again. Two plays that doesn't go his way results in a third down, as he went 0/2 with two passes near the grass. A huge pass to Deon Hardin results in a big gain for Staub. Staub goes deep but overthrows the wide receiver target by a good 10 yards. It is now second down. Staub delivers a strike to Ben Petermann. Isaiah Inge is down with a lower-body injury. Darryl Rivers gets a tackle on the quarterback. It was a sack. Staub throws a fade to the corner, which is incomplete, but the intended receiver crashes into the brick wall in a scary moment. That player was Luca Wolf who got up and was shakey a bit. This drive ends in a field goal from Cooper Ranvier.
