Is this the series win that gives the players AND coaches more confidence and propels us on a run? is this like the equivalent of last years TaMu series that propelled them after they struggled all year and got NO HIT by us, then proceeded to beat the brakes off of us the next two games, and then went on a tear down the stretch? We have looked unbeatable and then looked like we may never win another game this year. If we can get our Pitching (relief mostly) to match up at same time with our hitting and vice versa, we can be lethal. Lets hope the team is gelling at the right time and we can go on a bit of a winning streak that will get us back into the playoffs without needing to win the SEC Tourney.

We looked great today and Appenzeller looked great yesterday. I’m not ready to it call some gigantic shift in the force but we’ll see.

Side note: Grindlinger should be batting 2nd. Grimmer 3rd. Ford 4th. Chapman 5th
Brown shouldn't be batting at all right now. He has no plate discipline. I would sit him a weekend series to help get his mind together and regroup.

Grindlinger is a bat for sure but I wouldn't drop Ford or Grimmer. Keep them as is bc they are pretty solid. I am of the mindset you don't mess with the batting order too much once it is set. With that said, if a player is outperforming another and deserves the playing time, then slot him in the players place he is taking over.

Also, with that said, moving Levi Clark down has actually helped him and taken some of the pressure off imo. It worked with him but I don't like wholesale movement of the Batting order.

I just had this conversation this week with some of the other parents on my sons HS varsity team. He bats 2nd, switch hitter, and the top 4 batters at the start of the season were in a bad slump but the coach didn't tinker at all and left them alone and we finished the regular season 17-5 and the top 4 are leading the team now in almost every statistical category. The faith the coach showed in them helped keep their confidence and it paid off.
