From glancing at his highlights, I see some decent intagibles for why the coaching staff brough him in. He can defend the perimeter when needed. Good screener. Can do pick and roll dunks. Can move well and block shots. Has the ability to dribble and even drive. 3 years of experience.

At the same time some things that need work. Free throw form is not gonna cut it. It's ugly and not effective. Only shoots 50% from the line. Also, he looks a bit raw in areas. I'm sure the coaching staff feels they can squeeze more out of him. But needs to be a bit stronger with the ball. Needs to be more physical and aggressive on defense. He needs to challenge himself more offensively also. Relies alot on the backboard.

He is going to go against much bigger bigs playing with us so will have to raise it up another level. If he had more than a year of eligibility, I could see why the staff would want to develop him. If he were to struggle in year 1 at least the payoff would come in year 2. But with only one year left, I would think we would want someome more polished. Will still be a good roational piece but we need someone in addition to Rubin we can rely on to be very productive from the start.

Better defensively, rebounding and blocking shots compared to JP but lesser on offense with post moves and lacks JPs jump hook. Maybe he can develop one.

Not the 7-2 center I was hoping for but he is athletic and can score and block shots . Big upgrade in the paint

With so many of our posts graduating or entering the portal, we need another big man to pair with him. Let's hope we can find that guy. He can be a defensive force only. It looks like we are looking for multiple offensive options.
