I’d sorta rather her go there than other SEC programs. Idk we would have been at the level to compete with SC next year anyhow.

Would have been more an issue if she landed at one of the more middling SEC programs.

Sucks that we didn’t keep her tho

I find the implication (per the one post) that Gabe demonstrated poor character by blocking people who were calling him a snake, a hard one to get my around.

What sane person goes on a coach's social media feed to call them "a snake"?

Is that better or worse than calling coaches names on a forum behind their back? LOL. Public officials don't need to be blocking anyone. No clue why anyone is remotely defending Lazo at this point.

If he can’t take people talking about him on twitter (a social media app that carries no weight in life) then he isn’t strong enough mentally to be a head coach. coaches are bad mouthed 24/7 on social media, they got to get over that.

there’s a couple on here who are down bad for our precious assistant coaches and keep groveling in the past. we have to move on and enjoy our new team, who i believe is shaping up to be a solid team.

I would think people would realize that he is in a very difficult position right now having to get accustomed to a new job, hiring staff, recruiting players, etc... so knowing all that he would be insane to keep entertaining the comments of disgruntled fans from his previous job for the time being. He's trying to launch something new and lots of new players and fans and administrators have eyes on his social media. Do you really believe he owes anyone here the right to badmouth him on his social media account when he's starting a new job if he can just block them at this critical time? Seems like a ridiculous idea to me.

Not the point. Those calling him snake should not get upset when they get blocked in return. It is not about being mentally tough. It is asserting one's right to manage their social media profile or are you against personal liberty?

never think it’s okay to name call, but also social media is never a place you should take stuff serious. i hope he succeeds at UCF!!

It’s weird that some think this portrays anyone in a good light. I don’t care one way or another about Lazo or UCF, but it’s not like he went out publicly trashing anyone or anything. He’s allowed to avoid people searching out and disparaging his character TO him whether he is a coach/public figure or not.

The same fans who went on former players’ social media posts and told them they were trash and “we” were happy they had left while applying zero culpability to the coach. The Kim cult is strong.
