Kiffin Strikes Again

Not much difference in Mississippi and Louisiana. He could have said it was just time to move on and thank the school for the opportunity.

However, demographically speaking there’s a huge difference between Oxford and Baton Rouge.
Agree about the towns, though I don't know about the campus demographics being more diverse in Baton Rouge..... I'd suspect they are but I don't know, but Kiffin recruited just fine to Ole Miss.

He didn't need to make a statement about Oxford at all. He's a prick.

Historically, Baton Rouge had significantly more plantations than Oxford. Further, I just presume anyone pretending to be upset at the Confederate flag is a full blown racist themselves. IF that hurts recruiting, then so be it.

Quickly looking online it appears LSU is 60% White and 20% Black. Ole Miss is 75% White and 10% Black. For comparison, Alabama is 68% White and 13% Black, while Tennessee is 76% White and 5% Black. Big nothing burger.

I spend a lot of time in Louisiana for business. I have never been anywhere that is more voluntarily segregated than they are.

Kiffin recruited just fine to Ole Miss, because kids wanted to play for him at Ole Miss.

LSU damn near recruits itself regardless of who the coach is.

And I do agree his statements were disingenuous at best, but it wouldn’t be a Kiffin breakup if it wasn’t messy.

Usually not interested in commenting on Lane but sorry Lane I’m simply not buying that. At this point it SEEMS like he’s trying to somehow justify what he did to Ole Miss. And I fully expect his tenure at LSU to be a rocky ride too 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.
