That one kind of surprised me as well.I was hoping for at least a mid-afternoon kick for Kennesaw State. Makes for a very late night getting back to Nashville
There’s a few games that would be better in the prime time SEC network slot tbhThat one kind of surprised me as well.
Thought for sure it was going to be a Nooner or at least mid-afternoon game.
Must not be diidly squat on the rest of the schedule that week, or they are trying to showcase us and the other UT for the meeting.
The game time windows for all remaining games will be announced on June 10. It used to be easier to predict game times when CBS had the first pick for the 330 game and everything had an order after that. Now ABC/ESPN has more time slots available and game times are harder to predict. I hope none of our big home games(Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Texas) get the dreaded noon slot but who knows these days.Guys, if you had to bet the ranch, what are the chances the Auburn game is a Noon kickoff? Going to be tough sleep wise doing a Virginia Tech/Tennessee doubleheader with a Noon kickoff.
I can 99.9% guarantee none of those games will kick off at noon. We aren’t Kentucky. The game time windows for all remaining games will be announced on June 10. I expect the Auburn game to be at night. ABC and ESPN have the top two prime time SEC slots and the only other semi-decent matchups that weekend are Arkansas-Texas A&M and Alabama-Miss State. Our game will get more viewership than both of those.Guys, if you had to bet the ranch, what are the chances the Auburn game is a Noon kickoff? Going to be tough sleep wise doing a Virginia Tech/Tennessee doubleheader with a Noon kickoff.
Yeah, just looked it up and here's the rundown:There’s a few games that would be better in the prime time SEC network slot tbh
Right. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we have as many home night games in those first three weeks as we did all last season. (Unless you count 4:15 kickoffsYeah, just looked it up and here's the rundown:
UGA/Arky at Noon (but not much else on at Noon so I think that's a ABC/ESPN game)
Troy/Mizzou at 12:45
NC St/Vandy at 12:45 (Better candidate for SECN primetime, IMO)
UK/aTm at 3:30 (Playoff team that should be reloaded, so likely an ABC/ESPN game)
FlSt/Bama at 3:30 (2 historic programs so probably opposite the UK/aTm game on ABC/ESPN)
MsSt/USCe at 4:15 (Better candidate for SECN primetime)
FLA/Aubby at 7:00 (Likely the third of the ABC/ESPN games)
LSU/Ole Ms at 7:30 (Opposite of the FL/AU game)
New Mx/OK at 7:30
K St/UT at 7:45
UTSA/Tx at 8:00
So, to me, it definitely looks like the networks are setting up the narrative of Texas coming to neyland in week 4 and that being a big time game.
The Arky AD is going off on the start time for the UGA game. It is an 11:00 AM start Central Time on ABC.Yeah, just looked it up and here's the rundown:

I would say that there is a small chance that the Auburn game is a nooner. It’s the most attractive SEC game of the day by brand IMO. Florida vs Mizzou will be interesting . USCjr vs UK is that same day. If you look up the definition of Noon Kickoff the South Carolina and Kentucky logos are right next to it.Guys, if you had to bet the ranch, what are the chances the Auburn game is a Noon kickoff?
