Wonder how it's doing financially, and who made the original investment?

Years ago the Dallas Cowboys used to play an exhibition game in Mexico each year. Guess the seed was planted successfully.

Gotta wonder if the advertising tag line for the LFA playoffs each year is "¡A todos nos fue mejor que a los Cowboys!"

An American football league in Mexico is a surprise to me, but I’m unusually interested. Wonder about the level of play. Regardless, would be fun to go to a game.

Dude there's people with money in just about every country on Earth. What separates poor countries from rich countries is how the average Joe and Jane are doing.

Edit: And Mexico is not a particularly bad-off country in the scheme of things.

Europe had the European League of Football (ELF...yes really). It folded but now they have 2 different ones.

European Football Alliance (6 teams with 2 expansion teams next year) and the American Football League Europe (8 teams with a 9th next year).

Between the 3 leagues, they had some of the old NFL Europe teams come back; the Barcelona Dragons, Hamburg Sea Lions were in ELF but folded a few years ago, the Frankfurt Galaxy, Berlin Thunder, and Rhein Fire all still play.

I don't think the AFLE has started yet, but I have watched some of the EFA game on their YouTube channel. They stream all the games I think.

Aren't you referring to the old WLAF? The World League of American Football?
