I haven't been in the Football Forum much lately but i read this, sounds like fumbles and FGs are still our problems? There's plenty of time to fix the fumbles, kicking is a lost art at UT. Thanks for the updates.

I'm excited about King at TE. I've been saying this for awhile, but he's a gift in the slot as a TE. He's fits Jones system perfectly. He's going to be very good for us the next three years at TE. He's also a very good run blocker.

He reminds me of Mose Phillips who made a lot of big plays at FB in the early 90s...Justin will get a lot more opportunities especially in this offense...I think he's going to be big for us

WR Devrin Young seems to be the top option at punt returns right now, and perhaps kickoffs as well. WR Alton "Pig" Howard needs to eliminate the fumbles and get more sure-handed before he's an option on punts.

Both Howard and Young had to catch five consecutive punts before practice ended. Howard caught two, then muffed two, and it looked like we might be here for a while. But he bounced back to catch the next five.

Young caught five in a row cleanly.
Yes!!! I hope they decide to put Young at RB a couple times this year, he's a good guy to watch.

Receivers don't receive, HBs dropping like flies, 3yr experienced QB can't claim job, no punt returner...we're great.

You should give up now. Start panicking. None of that will be addressed in the next 4 months I'm sure.

Lmao at people getting down during SPRING FOOTBALL. This is when you want these things happening so they can get worked out.

I'm not being negative but I really believe we are gonna be in deep doo doo at the RB position. Lane is messing up big time and if he can't stay in class and pass, we will be too thin for the SEC schedule. Where is the help gonna come from? I hope Lee makes it in. He may have grade issues.

What exactly were you expecting? Butch inherited Dooley's crap and it will take a year or two to get this thing rollin. To think otherwise is really foolish imo.

Our WR situation scares me.. I'd give anything for CP and JH right now.

Agreed on CP. Not JH.

2010/first two games of 2011 JH, yes. 2012 JH, not so much.

Too many drops and sliding to the turf to avoid contact. He never fought for a single extra yard last season.

I'd have to disagree with you about JH. He was playing it safe for the draft. At this point id take a safe-playing JH over any of the guys we got, due to the fact he's had plenty of SEC experience. We have virtually none with the group we got. Scary..
