I don't see any harm in telling it like it is. Mental toughness has been a major weakness for UT the past few years. I believe Butch will change this.

Thats gotta be rough to hear as a player. Second part might have a bit of truth to it. Mental toughness at the end of games clearly needs to be better.

Definitely sounding like North, Jenkins and Smith will get every opportunity to earn alot of PT. Gonna be a long year if the receivers havent improved by Sept. Really need a healthy Croom, Blanc and North especially to be playmakers and Pig, Devrin and Jenkins to use their playmaking skills. And hope like hell Lane and Lee are here and another TE steps up for the young QB's. Going to be a work in progress early on, especially.

I recall reading on GOVOLSXTRA that's pretty much what CBJ told our players early on. Our boys response was, "Just teach us what to do coach." Thereafter CBJ and company have been very pleased with how our boys responded to the teaching. Despite the hiccups such as Lane's unknown issues, I'm darn proud of our guys and believe we're going to have a team that doesn't lie down and die on the field. We might not win as much as we'd like but we won't be quitters.
